On the authority of Anas bin Malik, that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) rode a horse, and it was trampled on him, so he colt his right side, and he prayed one of the prayers while he was sitting, and we prayed behind him while he was sitting.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari,
Ibn Hajar said in “Fath al-Bari” “And in the hadith is the legality of riding a horse and being patient with its morals.”
In the narration of Imam Muslim
«The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) fell for a horse and the right apartment. And when he said God listens to those who praise Him. So say Our Lord, to You be praise, and when he prays sitting, they pray all together. And in another narration The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, fell down on a horse and it came out and prayed for us while we were sitting… Then he mentioned the same way.
And in another narration The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was killed by a horse and its right cleft was colt, in the manner of their conversation. He added If he prays standing, then pray standing. And in another narration The Messenger of God, may the peace and blessings of God be upon him, rode a horse, and it shrieked, and his right rib colt came out of it, in the manner of their hadith, and in it they said, when he prayed. And in another narration The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, fell from his horse, and his right cleft was colt.
The meaning of the hadith is that the Messenger of God – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – was riding a horse, and it fell from above him, and his right side was scratched, so he prayed with the companions while he was sitting, and they prayed behind him while they were sitting. When the prayer ended, the Messenger – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him – told them that the follower would follow his imam in everything, and if the follower grew old, the follower would say the takbeer, and if the imam kneels, the follower kneels, and if he prostrates, he prostrates, and if the imam prays standing, the follower prays standing, and if he prays sitting, the imam prays sitting down
