The mare Rabab was born on October 21, 1945 at the Al-Zahraa station for the breeding of purebred Arabian horses (formerly Kafr Farouk) to the mother Sameha and the father Jamal Al-Din the horse of Professor Ahmed Abu Al-Fotouh. The upper and anterior groin of the halter is anterior frill.
Dr. Hassan Sabry attended the birth of “Rabab” and also took a photograph of her with her mother, in the presence of Dr. Abdel Alim Ashoub, head of the education department at the station, and Dr. Hassan Sabry.
It is noteworthy that the Rabab farm, owned by Sheikh Khalid bin Laden and located in the suburb of Shabramant in Giza at the present time, was named because it was the first mare that Sheikh Khaled bought, and named it Rabab.
