The mare Shams was born on August 25, 1938, at the Zahra station for purebred Arabian horses (formerly Kafr Farouk), to Samiha and father Mishaan, and was entered in the horse genealogical register No. 3, page 30, in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Mabrouk. Its descriptions are: “It is red with flint, incoming fluid, and a mustache.”
Shams is the daughter of Mishaan and Samiha and the sister of Nazeer by the mother, and goes back to the halter Hadban Enzahi, and she produced two important mare: the first is “Sharara” from the companion horse, and she is the grandmother of the mare Olfat, which is one of the most important houses in the Zahra station.
As for her second daughter, the mare “Sharifa”, she is from the father Jasser, and Basima was produced by the horse Aladdin, and one of her most famous sons is the horse, Antar’s grandson.
It is noteworthy that the birth of “Shams” was attended by Dr. Abdel Alim Ashoub, Head of the Education Department at Kafr Farouk Station (Al-Zahra Station).
