Nour Al-Sabah and Mukhtar Saqr and Majir are the best horses in the breeding program … the fact that the mare was offered at auction for 50 thousand dollars …
According to a program characterized by a unique character of beauty and originality, which qualifies it to be a leadership badge for all educators and professionals, because it has unique breeds that make it worthy of study and follow-up, the “Badrawi” farm was established for its owners Fathy Al-Badrawi and his son Muhammad.
One of the most important achievements of Al-Badrawi Farm is that it was able to produce its sixth generation in a distinguished program that succeeded in achieving breakthroughs in the manufacture of purebred Arabian horses, the most prominent of which was the horse “Safeer Badrawi”, which is considered one of the best free floats, as it belongs to the “Al-Abayana Umm Jeris” family, while it won The farm occupies first place in many horse races.
Mr. Basha Badrawi is one of the founders of the Egyptian Agricultural Authority, and his grandfather Mahmoud Pasha Al-Atribi, who gave the Agricultural Authority two horses for eugenics, “Nebras and Ghandour”, as the Badrawi family owned a group of distinctive horses.
After security was imposed on the family, Fathi Al-Badrawi bought in 1969 a plot of land on his Mariouteya canal, a mare from Ahmed Pasha Hamzah, and then a group of other mare from the Agricultural Authority. To establish his farm with its current program, to establish Al Badrawai Farm by acquiring the best horse families.
It also used a group of the best horses such as “Noor Al-Sabah, Mukhtar Saqr,” and the horse Salah El-Din Badrawi, which are mainly the farm breeding program, in addition to the horse Saphir Badrawi, which is described as the most beautiful children of the anchor in the world.
The farm recently won many prizes in the “Egyptian Event” tournament organized by the Al-Ahram Foundation for the Egyptian Horse, which is considered one of the strongest tournaments in Egypt.
It is noteworthy that Fathy Badouri founded the Badrawi farm in 1968, to regain his hobby again.
Where he loved horses, so in his childhood and “his age did not exceed eleven years”, he owned 19 mare and two horses, which he acquired from his grandfather Mahmoud Pasha Al-Atribi.
With the rise of the revolution, he was imposed on guard, all his horses were confiscated, and he could only keep one mare, which he left with the village mayor, and he was unable to register it because the required papers were not available.
After a while he bought two horses: the first from Hamdan stables called “Habiba from“ Fakhri and Bint Munira ”and the second bearing the name“ Ansoda ”. Her mother was a gift from King Faisal to Ahmed Pasha Hamzah and the father was a Tahawi Arabian horse. Another mare named “Misrat”, from the Agricultural Authority. And from several basic mare and horses such as: “the horse Fahd bin Akhenaten and Nora” The farm was established in addition to the use of agricultural authority bullets such as “Shaarawy and Adeeb”.
Al-Badrawi was interested in supporting the farm with a group of divorced men, such as: “Raseh bin grandson of Antar” and “Sidra and Noor Al-Sabah” and the main founder of the farm “Ibn Al-Anid” and “Misrat”, where the focus was on the mother of the horse who is divorced because she has a big factor.
New horses were added again, such as: “Al-Mukhtar Saqr and the horse“ Majir ”bin Karawan, Aya,“ Salah al-Din Badrawi ”bin Maduri, Jannat al-Adiyat and the horse“ Shahriar Badrawi ”bin al-Mukhtar Saqr and Jannat al-Adiyat.
The production program at Badrawi’s farm succeeded in producing from the Mukhtar Saqr a group of distinctive mare and horses, and this was the case for the Agriculture Authority mare without buying mare from abroad.
A group of strong mares and horses came out of Egypt during the revolution, and they should not have gone out, until the educator Omar Saqr and others recovered that group from abroad.
The fact that the mare “Wajid” was put up for auction.
Regarding the auction of the mare “Wajid”, Mr. Muhammad Al-Badrawi says: “I was always roaming in the Zahraa station and I know her family well .. and one day I learned from Dr. Khalil Suleiman that the skilled“ Wajid ”will be sold in the auction“ after three days ”, and I went with my father and Hajjah Fatima. Hamza went to the office of Dr. Youssef Abdel-Rahman in charge of the Agricultural Authority “at that time” and we assured him that it is not possible to sell the skilled “Wajid”, because her mother is 23 years old and does not produce, and she has only one sister representing the family in the Zahraa station.
He added: “We asked him that Wajid should remain, while Dr. Khalil Suleiman sent a memorandum to Dr. Youssef Abdel Rahman asking him not to sell the mare at auction .. But there are those who convinced the minister of the necessity to sell it. Indeed, the skilled was put up in public auction at an initial price of 30 thousand dollars, which was raised to 50 thousand Dollar, so my father and Hajja Fatima Hamza decided to buy it.
He continued: The number of 50 thousand dollars “equivalent to 200 thousand Egyptian pounds”, which was offered by Dr. Khalil Suleiman, is a very high price for the skill, as the auction that was held before that the skilled “events” sister “Wajd” was sold to Adel Attia for 60 thousand Egyptian pounds and it happened. Strong competition in the auction between us and Al-Rayyan farm in Qatar, and the competition ended with our purchase of the mare for 350 thousand pounds, equivalent to 100 thousand dollars at that time.
