Prince Hussein Kamel assumed the presidency of the association from its first meeting on March 30, 1898 until December 19, 1914, when he gave great attention to horses, and horse breeding began in the Agricultural Society during his reign. During the era of the emirate and in the era of the Sultanate Kamel was the most princes loving the farmer and taking care of his affairs and watching over his interests until he was called the right of “Aba Al-Falah”. During the reign of his father Ismail, he inspected the northern and southern regions, and he also took over the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Works, the Ministry of War, then the Ministry of Finance and the Presidency of the Representative Council, and thus he was able to get acquainted with the work of the government, and he was the only prince who held various positions of the ministry, and he had a praiseworthy effect in each of them.
And he established the Royal Agricultural Society, which provides the Egyptian peasant with the most important services, and established the departments of animal husbandry and flower breeding, and he set up exhibitions and took care of the agricultural syndicates project. He was connected with the great farmers and their notables, and he was so sympathetic to the small farmers that he knew them one by one. He also established a group of schools, the most important one of them is Damanhour Industrial School, on which he spent from his own property.
Marital life and children: Sultan Hussein Kamel has two wives, the first, Princess Ain al-Hayat Ahmed, who is the daughter of Prince Ahmed Rifat Pasha from his wife Princess Dilber Jahan Qadin, who was born on October 5, 1858, and Sultan Hussein married her on January 15, 1873, then divorced her in 1885, and she died in 1910, and their children including:
Prince Kamal al-Din: who died on December 20, 1874, Princess Kazma, who died on July 19, 1879, Princess Kamila, who died on October 12, 1877, Prince Ahmed Kazem: who died on April 21, 1897.

The scientific and practical stage of Ali Pasha Sharif It is noteworthy that Ali Pasha was born in Egypt and received his studies at the Khanka School, where his father received his acquaintances Then he sent him to France to complete his studies at the Staff of War School in Paris, in the Vendôme neighborhood, where he had a brilliant success, as he was the first in his division. Then he was appointed in the French army with the rank of Yusbashi, and he served in France and participated in the revolution of 1848 with a position of staff of war, and quickly rose to the rank of commander of the siege of Paris, then returned to Egypt and was appointed Admiralay in the Egyptian artillery in the rule of Muhammad Ali Pasha the Great “from 1805 to the year 1848, After the death of his father, he was appointed head of the Egyptian Chamber of Commerce, then head of the Shura Council, and he served in the Egyptian government under the rule of its rulers, namely: Muhammad Ali Pasha the Great “from 1805 to 1848”, and Ibrahim Pasha from 1789 to 1848.
And Abbas Pasha I from “1848 until 1854”, Saeed Pasha from “1854 until 1863”, and Khedive Ismail Pasha from “1863 until the year 1879”, Khedive Tawfiq Pasha from “1879 until 1892”, and Khedive Abbas Hilmi Pasha from “1892 until the year” 1914 ”.
